Proof

I submit the following evidence as proof of two facts.

The first being that is in indeed spring, despite the fact that it was 28 degrees Fahrenheit when I went outside this morning. Brr.

The second (and most important) fact being that I, Rebekah Jane Country Mouse, have not killed this plant.

I think we can all admit that this is progress.

Especially when you take into account what I did to this poor cactus.

Are you starting to see spring flowers blooming?

  6. Nope, no flowers yet. My state is so behind the times. While everyone else south of the 45th parallel has their gardens in, mowing their lawns, picking pretty flowers from their flower beds, we still cold, blustery winds, frozen ground and piles of dirty snow. At least the birds think it is spring.

  7. I love daffodils. I wish they lasted longer than they do. I'd have them all over the place!

  8. No blooming flowers yet but our grass is actually starting to turn GREEN instead of that dormant brownish color.

  9. Stop teasing me... please! Our first official day of spring here has brought snow, icicles and temperatures of minus 13 C. The lake has frozen solid again...

And I would tell you that we have been in 80 degree weather for a while now, but I don't want to make you jealous. So I won't.
