That Pesky Brother in Law of Mine...

...recently informed me that it was incredibly rude of me to keep the posting so light around this place. APPARENTLY he reads this website...and here I thought he couldn't read!

(For anyone new to this site, he and I have a love/hate relationship, we love to pretend that we hate each other. Actually...I think we both just like to insult each other. He's ALRIGHT, I guess. Don't tell him I told you that.)

I really have missed posting, but between the morning sickness and the fatigue that overtook my life a few weeks ago, I just couldn't think of anything to say other than "I'm so tired" and really, who wants to get online and read that I am tired for two weeks in a row?

Not only has my posting suffered, but I have not taken a single picture in the last several weeks. My poor camera sits dusty and neglected next to my photo printer (also dusty and neglected). Had I been taking more pictures I could have shown you several things.

*I could have shown you the sendoff we went to for my step-dad, who just so happens to be in Guatemala as we speak. Yes! Guatemala! How awesome is that? We are all so proud of him and his willingness to serve.

*I could have shown you the vegetable garden we planted. Also I could have shown you my husband WALKING on said garden about three whole minutes after I planted and watered the rows. Sigh. I do love him though...

*I could have shown you a hilarious picture of my brother and my brother in law trying to remove a tree. Imagine if you will - Brandon is holding my two and half month old nephew observing Everett and I trying to remove a tree. He commandeers the shovel from me, because apparently it's NOT okay to simply try to use the shovel to cut the root, whatever, and proceeds to work the shovel with one hand and one foot, still holding the baby. In the meantime Everett is pulling on the tree and Snow White (their Jack Russell) seems to believe he is attacking the tree and must join in. So here we have Brandon working the shovel and holding Emerson, Everett pulling on the tree while Snow White hangs from the tree by her teeth all while growling rather ferociously...and me with NO CAMERA!

I know...it is unacceptable. I will do better this week! I promise I will! I missed you!

  3. I'm laughing at the image of Snow White. My jack russell/rat terrier mix LOVES pulling up roots with me! She will help me dig the hole (and she does a MUCH better job than me) and then pulls with all her 20 pound might to get the root out after!

That WOULD have been a hilarious picture!
