Out With The Old, In With The New (Used)

After much debating and, I'll be honest here, a couple of tears, my husband and I have come to the conclusion that my car will no longer meet our needs as a family come November. I drove a two door Ford, with more than it's fair share of...um...quirks.

So it was with a sad heart that I surrendered my old hoopdee, the first car I ever owned, and traded it in for a new (used) SUV.

Goodbye my old friend. I would have driven you 'til the day you died(which, actually...you did more than once.) Ah, remember that time we slid off of the road in the snow and somehow you ended up on top of a stone wall? With all four tires mid-air? You were so special to me.

But Oh! Hello handsome! How YOU doin??

Hoopdee? What hoopdee?

  1. Was your old love a ZX2? I had a red one .... someone ran a stop sign and killed my love, totaled kaput, I cried and cried, I loved that car. I bought a SUV after mending my broken heart.... but nothing will ever replace my little red Z,

  6. New wheels are always good and fun not to mention a bit more reliable. Hey, you need to make room for that upcoming baby! You won't believe how fast your big SUV will suddenly feel small once you fill it with diaper bags, stroller, pack-n-play, oh and then your stuff!
    Enjoy your new toy!
