Not My Finest Moment

We got take-out for dinner last night.

We got take-out because dinner was inedible

Dinner was inedible because I added way too much salt.

I added way too much salt because I was flustered.

I was flustered because I had dropped the zucchini on the floor.

I dropped the zucchini on the floor because my hands were shaking.

My hands were shaking because I had just started a raging fire on the stove-top.

Tell me you guys have days like this too?

Well I still have eaten it! LOL!

Deary, I have one of these at LEAST once a week...although I've never tried the fire approach! :)

Oh, hun....more than you know! I almost burned the house down when I was your age, left a towel on the oven door, somehow it caught on fire, I walked into the kitchen to a fire....I am still known as trying to burn down the house years ago.....don't worry about it...it happens to the BEST of US!!!

Been there! hee hee. You should always drink a glass of wine while cooking. That way you're relaxed when things like that happen.

If you would've been drinking during your fire, you would have calmly walked to the living room and said "Dear? I think there's something wrong with the stove." hee hee.

I am sure that this will be only one of more to come. BUT!

You will be able to handle them so well, because you will have prior experience.

We have all been through this also.

It happens.

ROTFL! you poor thing. We've all had those days. Days were we just want to go to bed and pull the covers over our heads.

Sometimes I feel like these days out-number the ones not like this. :)

I haven't even attempted to cook again yet. I'm still too distracted.
