Hold You Momma

If you have ever been pregnant, know someone who has been pregnant, or you know...paid any attention to pregnancy at all, you have probably heard the 'rule' that pregnant women shouldn't really carry much more than 25 pounds.

My son weighs 29 pounds. And when we are out and about he has this sweet little habit when he is sleepy where he turns to me and puts his little hands out and asks 'hold you momma'.  He nestles his little head into my neck and I snuggle him until his little body relaxes on my shoulder and I hear his breathing get steady.
Phooey on that 25 pound rule.  This is my baby, and I will 'hold you momma' as much as I can!

  2. So when I read this the first time I thought you were saying Luke was 29 pounds....having three kids will take away your ability to read and interpret properly.

  13. I remember when I was pregnant with my son my doctor told me I really shouldn't be picking up my daughter anymore(who was only 13 months old in that last month of pregnancy) I remember just laughing at her and thinking ya right.

  18. Hold away - soon there will be 2 to be held, and that is time split. I cherish the moments with Hudson in the weeks before our precious baby girl arrived....btw, Hudson was a "hold you mama" boy, and Anna was a "hold me-me mama" - Mama Beth

  20. Aww! I just wish my dude would stay still enough to let me hold him. Even when he's tired he's still running 90 to nothing!
