I had seen a picture of an interesting way to display photos with clothespins, and thought it might be a great solution for us to display a rotation of Jack's creations, without overtaking our entire kitchen. I had a roll of jute in my craft box, and liked the way that looked with the clothespins...nice and rustic.
I labeled some of our clothespins with the days of the week, and we keep the rest in a little tin that is actually left over from our wedding decorations!
We have had it up for about three weeks now, and it really is great! Not only does it keep the clutter down in our house (to an extent anyway!), but Jack also knows exactly where his newest creation will be, and runs to show it off when visitors stop by.
Do you have a way of displaying your little ones creations? I'd love to hear what works for you!

Jared is in 1st grade, and between his 2 years of preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade, and all the things he creates at home, it's a disaster zone. Sooooo, I bought a digital frame and a memory card just for Jared's works of art. Every time he create something, I snap a photo of it with his memory card and now I have ALL of his masterpieces to be displayed in one place.

Thats a great idea! Even LESS clutter then!
ReplyDeleteDarling idea Bekah! :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteI keep a rubbermaid tub for each kid. That is my lifetime limit per child. I make a yearly scrapbook on Picaboo. I order two copies when they go BOGO free. Each of the three gets a copy and I do too. I save only the best artwork from school to represent their year. The rest has to go. I've taken pics of a few things and included it in the scrapbook.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I like the first commenters idea, too. That's so clever.
ReplyDeleteOh see, yours looks adorable! Maybe I should've stuck with my first inclination.. :) I love the rope you used.
