P.S. - The trick here is to actually focus on something in front of the lights. For example - I originally focused on a lampshade, held my shutter in halfway to lock my focus, then moved my camera until I had the tree where I wanted it.

Christmas Tree Bokeh
So. Life has been a bit on the heavy side lately. Nothing awful - just...you know...heavy. In the effort of self-distraction, I would like to show you what I did at the boys' naptime today. This was inspired by a share of a share of a share on facebook - and I have seen it oodles of times on Pinterest as well. But let's cut the chatting and let the pictures tell the story, k?
